The former president of the Republic Ricardo Martinelli, in a second open letter to the current president, Juan Carlos Varela, criticized the lack of execution of work of the current administration.
"The ship called Panama does need a captain. A captain with vision and a well-laid plan of navigation and, above all, a team to accompany them. Unfortunately, you don't have a defined work plan, but a promotional brochure of your campaign promises", he said.
He said the greatest achievement of Varela in the last 19 months has been to revive the infrastructure he left almost ready.
"Your administration paused several projects and in the end had to do the right thing, reactivate, but the party has not said is how many millions of dollars will cost to the people your decision. Only the City Hospital has generated an increase of 8% ($ 48 million) of the work", he said.
He added that a country is not unlike a business and to make things work, leadership must come from the head. "If you want to be the captain of our ship, begins to make decisions and stop get into the justice to meet your personal hatred", he said.
