Ayu Prado reelection, uncovers a story of betrayal

Judge Harry Diaz is still surprised by the change of colleague Jose Ayu Prado.

A story of betrayal and denounce against the Court, seems to be the balance after the loss of the presidency of this organ of the State, by the magistrate Harry Diaz.

Diaz, told a television station, that his colleague Jose Ayu Prado, betrayed him despite repeatedly, promised to support the election day.

"For many it was a surprise, especially for me. Ayú constantly promised me their with the votes".

The lawyer said that even though friends warned him not to trust in his word, he always believed him.

"Many people called me to say, this man is a hypocrite, he (Ayu Prado) want to be reelected" said Diaz.

Once January 4, against all logic, the magistrate Cecilio Cedalise, newly appointed by President Juan Carlos Varela, proposed Ayu Prado to president of the court, who is under the magnifying glass of public opinion for alleged irregularities under his management.

Faced with this, Diaz said he was unaware what changed Ayu Prado's mind, nor why Cedalise made the nomination.

In that election, Ayu Prado won the votes of Cecilio Cedalise, Angela Russo, Luis Ramon Fabrega, Hernán De Leon and his own vote; it means, he won five against two from Diaz and two from other aspirant, Oyden Ortega.

After the reelection of Ayu Prado, a number of criticisms arose because the new judges, swore not to follow  politics line and make transparency work inside the palace Gil Ponce.
