President Juan Carlos Varela is among the three worst rated leaders of the countries that form the Central American Common Market.

Varela, who took office on July 1, 2014, ranked fifth rated seven heads of Central American States, obtaining only 24% support of reviewers who is performing "very well or their work".

This was made evident a survey of public opinion drafted by the company CID Gallup Latin America, in the first two months of 2016, where 1,200 interviews per country, per household, among adults living in their country were made.

When asked about the issue, critical ironclad of the presidential management Varela, Mauro Zuniga, said the president "has done nothing", then, he has not fulfilled his campaign promises and therefore the population is unhappy.

"If we do not take strong decisions or promptly, will it be carried out social upheavals whose consequences are unpredictable," he added.

In fact, he considered that the president is not worrying about situations that happen in our country and it seems to be in "another world".

"It seems to me that Varela is thinking whether there is life on Mars or not, and is not concerned at all about what happens in Panama, he is like another world," he said.

According to Zuniga Varela must make a reassessment of his cabinet because ministers are not being accepted.

As for Mario Rognoni political analyst, Varela will mark low, because his style is completely opposite of his predecessor, Ricardo Martinelli, since the latter was acting aggressively and drove every week and disseminated a project.

In fact, another survey, also conducted by CID Gallup Latin America from 4 to 10 January 2016, revealed that after the same period in government, the president Martinelli was better assessed that the current president Varela, who now receives more negative opinions that positive, according to the document.

The evaluation survey stands as the worst evaluated, ie, which occupies the seventh position, the president of Costa Rica, Luis Guillermo Solis, with 15% support.

The best evaluation of the Central American presidents turned out to be Jimmy Morales of Guatemala, with 73%, followed by Danilo Medina of the Dominican Republic, with 56%; Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua, with 50%; Juan Orlando Hernandez of Honduras, with 42%; Varela, 24%; Salvador Sanchez Ceren in El Salvador, with 23%, and Solis of Costa Rica, with 15%.
