Idalia Martinez's head seems to be the trophy that the National Support Network for Children and Adolescents in Panama (Rednaniap) and other civil organizations wants-

After a conference in which Martinez, director of the National Secretariat for Children, Youth and Family (SENNIAF), she revealed that from the 57 existing shelters in Panama, only 7 have operating permission, the Rednaniap issued a statement in which she demands President of the Republic to be cautious in choosing the official in charge of that institution.

In the paper of four points, she emphasized the president "the need to respect the requirements concerning the designation of the person responsible for SENNIAF".

Apart from the dissatisfaction with the work of Martinez, the Rednaniap notes that the current authorities "have shown indifferent" about the need to "make profound changes in SENNIAF".

Finally, Rednaniap asked to investigate and punish those who allegedly committed a series of irregularities in the SENNIAF and contained in the report a month ago.

To all this questioning, Martinez defended himself saying that is the target of civil organizations by being a servant and that she is not worried because there are people for and against management.

However, when asked for his reaction to everything that is expressed in  Rednaniap  newsletter, she said she must first produce a written to refute the allegations and that it must be delivered to the board of the SENNIAF. The next meeting of this directive will take place in April.
