Comptroller ordered an audit after the irregularities in Meduca

The Comptroller General of the Republic, Federico Humbert, ordered a special audit on the operational aspects for determining responsibilities in two directions of the Ministry of Education (Meduca).

 Humbert signed thisThursday theResolution No. 41-2016 / DINAG of 14 January 2016 ordering the respective audits in the Department of Management (Office of the Director, Purchasing Department, Warehouse and Department of State Property) and the National Curriculum and Educational Technology Meduca.

The decision to conduct an audit, came after the Education Minister Marcela Paredes de Vasquez sent a letter to Comptroller Humbert, 13 January, by the respective application.

"In addition to the internal audit that carry out in the Ministry of Education, we request the appointment of the audit staff of the Comptroller for a special audit on the operational aspects and to establish accountability takes place" said the letter of the Minister of Education.

In this regard, the note of presentation of the auditors who performed the audit, the Comptroller Humbert tells the minister Paredes Vasquez "It is important to inform you that to instruct the audit, we will practice the necessary steps to collect items of judgment allowing timely present the results.".

 To this end, the Comptroller appointed a team of 4 people, who will be responsible for audit in those instances Meduca.
