A new case adds to the irregularities that have been detected in the Social Security Fund (CSS) tenders for the purchase of medical and surgical supplies for the institution.
The company Apaliprom in a note to Estivenson Giron, director of the CSS, makes a warning of some anomalies detected by checking the statement of objections, which would violate the legal security of the institution attacking the treasury.
In the letter it states that the tender has items that have a technical description endorse specific products and benefit providers, without giving the opportunity for participation to other companies with similar products.
Similarly, they warn about technical specifications created or modified without reasonable approvals for vendors which are selling the same input but refereced doubled prices, more than the Fund buy it before.
They emphasize that in the act lines with products has never acquired CSS and therefore, with consumption that are not supported and well above the historical amounts of the institution observed.
Last week, the company Medtronic also made observations concerning this measure (08-2015), which were to reveal that the prices of established references are not consonant with dialysis catheters that prevail in today's market or to the prices at which the CSS has acquired over the years these products, and an increase between 150% and 250% is observed.
The tender called by the Social Security Fund (CSS) is to acquire 16 lines corresponding to peritoneal dialysis catheters and acute and chronic hemodialysis.
At the time, the company argued that after coming to see the details of the act makes the warning of lines 16, 15 contain specifications of products completely biased.
Last year, the CSS also was questioned by irregularities in the public act for the purchase of equipment for hospital waste management and high health drugs and biological risk. There have been many during the current administration of the CSS, complaints from representatives of various companies as to how they are doing procurement and various sectors have described as unfortunate the management of the current director of the social security institution .
