Of the nine judges who conform the full Supreme Court, three are in the public spotlight.

And it is that of the 21 complaints that rest in the Credentials Committee of the National Assembly (AN), eight are against Ayu Prado. But in the list of the wall, are also Oyden Ortega Judge with 5 and Harry Diaz with 4 complaints against them.

There are another five against Harley Mitchell already served his term as magistrate.

However, public opinion of political and civil country, and even the clergy Panamanian sectors, demand a moral exorcism within an institution that has little credibility.

Decency crumble could have the judiciary is the finished eating by the 'Crow corruption' following statements by Harry Diaz.

Diaz  denounced the so-called 'judicial tourism', a compromise of betrayal that orchestrated to take the presidency of the Court and a series of events that caused an avalanche of criticism.

The resignation of Diaz and the other judges was the first public reaction. But as most assume it's not going to happen, civil groups boost a possible trial against all the judges who have any complaint.

Others requested the immediate resignation of the 9 judges along with their deputies. Now there is a process to be followed, as was done to ex judge Alejandro Moncada Luna.

To investigate, the Credentials Committee admitted complaints were filed with the Secretary General, after full tax and appointed three judges of guarantees that prosecuted Moncada.
Back then, it was more a political trial, but a fair process. Moncada Luna was appointed by former President Ricardo Martinelli.

Therefore, many spoke of persecution and selective justice, but ultimately Moncada was confined to prison for embezzlement and falsification of documents.

Explained all this, the outlook for a given process against a judge is unlikely, according to sources.

For the former presidential candidate John Jované, the matter can be defined as a non-aggression pact between the judiciary and the legislature. "There is a kind of reciprocity like 'you do not touch me and I will not touch' ... it will depend on public pressure", said Jované.

Ernesto Cedeno in the constitutional review, the Assembly will not dare to carry out a process of this type. "As the Assembly is walking so 'zigzaging' is unlikely because I do not think they are following the agenda of transparency".

While the Panamanian deputy, Luis Eduardo Quirós, is aware of the negative perception that muddies the picture Gil Ponce Palace and the Palace Justo Arosemena, two prominent political figures of the isthmus.

"In order to clean up the Court, the first thing that has to happen is that they (the judges) cause a harmonious environment for the solution of conflicts". Today, beginning at ten o'clock, civil society groups demand the resignation of the 9 judges in the National Assembly.
