Three years before the general elections get celebrates again in Panama, proposals are classified by some as unconstitutional and others as wanting to have more power arise.

And the deputy of the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD) Zulay Rodriguez said his colleague Jose Luis Varela Panamanian Party wants to propose the vote in interparty iron.

Rodriguez explained in the program NexTV Trocha Abierta this method is that one voter can vote for several candidates from different parties.

He argued that "Popi" Varela wants to propose this because Panameñistas not brought many deputies in the last elections. "They increased the number of deputies when they challenged several candidates for Democratic Change for the use of state resources, and asked the PRD to support them," he said.

For the lawyer Alejandro Perez in the Panamanian electoral legislation we have been tolerating arbitrary.

He said that as is considering the proposal, this violates all the fundamental precepts of the popular vote and also harms the purity of suffrage to try to introduce a methodology that is totally absurd.

"In our system prevails the principle one person, one vote. The crossover voting or interparty do when you want to choose the president of a party and mayors or members of another group, which can not be done is that one the voter can vote will choose a candidate from each party, "he said.

"We perceive that what Jose Luis Varela is looking for more members, which failed in the last election and therefore resorted to the challenges which managed five seats," he said.

According to Perez, this proposal is unconstitutional and is trying to play with the Panamanian electoral system and transform the true concept.

Meanwhile, the lawyer Ernesto Cedeño considered this a retreat from democracy.

Cedeño said that the ideal is to continue using and advocating for democracy methodology of one person, one vote, forcing the candidate to explore the streets and sell your proposal well.

"We can not continue overwhelmed by proposals as a vote iron or a crossover vote," he added.

Meanwhile, for Mario Rognoni political analyst, it is recommended that each person vote for a candidate and not by number.

However, in circuits which are chosen more than four deputies, this methodology can be applied and will not affect anyone.

He noted that what we do would be complicated is when the counting of votes.
