Varela's government lacks transparency, according to Ditcher & Neira survey

Despite that was one of the campaign promises of President Juan Carlos Varela, the perception of citizens is that transparency is not as much as the current administration has shown.

The last Ditcher & Neira poll revealed that 72% of respondents gave a negative assessment to this issue, while only 25% felt otherwise.

Also, the survey explained that in the past six months the administration of President Juan Carlos Varela dropped from 60% to 52% , in this January.

Similarly, the management of his minister of state was rated negatively by 55% versus 37% of people who gave a positive assessment.

Recall that in June qualifying for Cabinet members was 55% , but since July it fell to 44% . Topics such as insecurity (23% ) , water (15% ) , unemployment (15%) and cost of living ( 135) are the issues of most concern to the Panamanians.
