JC Varela among the worst evaluated presidents in the region

The president of Guatemala, Jimmy Morales is the highest rated president countries that form the Central American Common Market, while the Costa Rican Luis Guillermo Solis ranks last from seven presidents evaluated, according to a survey released yesterday.
According to the study by CID Gallup Latin America, 73% of Guatemalans believe that Morales, in power since last January 14, performs "well or very well their work".
"President Morales barely had days of the post when the survey was conducted and the data shows more hope for the future that an assessment of values," he said in a statement the consultant.
The survey, conducted in the first two months of 2016, shows that the president of the Dominican Republic, Daniel Medina, is the second best evaluated (56%) and that of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, the third (50%).
Both Medina and Ortega, said CID Gallup Latin America, are seeking re-election this year, in the case of nicarag taught would be the second followed.
The presidents of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernandez (fourth with 42%); from Panama, Juan Carlos Varela, (fifth, with 24% support) and Salvador, Salvador Sanchez Ceren, (sixth, with 23%) complete the list.
The worst score is the president of Costa Rica, Luis Guillermo Solis, as only 15 percent of Costa Ricans believe they do "very well" or "good" their work.
"Solis became president with the number of votes (1,300,000) largest in the history of that country, elected by a population yearning changes offered him in his campaign. The impression of most Costa Ricans is that is not complying with what is offered, "he added the consultant.
The survey was carried out through an interview per household to complete a minimum of 1,200 per country, with a margin of error of 2.8 points and a confidence level of 95% detailed CID Gallup Latin America.
