Another former guard of Sucre accused her of abuse of office

New revelations have emerged in the scandal involving the deputy minister of Social Development (Mides), Zulema Sucre.

Another of the three bodyguards, named Marino Zuniga broke the silence and spoke to denounce a series of labor abuses against him and two other companions dismissed.

Abuses related to work overtime and perform outside the escort role in the Mides work.

Zuniga said his role was to lead to the deputy minister's daughters to school in the morning, walking the dog Gucci.

He added that weekends had to work until four in the morning, to care for the daughters of the deputy minister.

Meanwhile, Alcibiades Vasquez, Mides minister, deputy minister stressed that Sucre should be separated from office for the duration of investigations by the Public Prosecutor.

In an interview with Vasquez he said consultations are being made not only to removal from office of Sucre, but to look for a replacement on an interim basis to remain in place until the situation is clarified.

Social Development Minister informed that the report requested by President Juan Carlos Varela was delivered on Thursday last week.

He said that a report issued Sucre deputy minister and a copy of the complaint filed by the director of the Antai annexed.
